Saltwater fly fishing angler’s the Strausburg party, did some fly and some conventional fishing. They had 2 dorado bite the fly and released 1. The caught 1 sailfish on conventional and 1 lively blue marlin, about 150 pounds. They also caught 1 tuna and 3 dorado on conventional tackle.
The Neely party, fishing a full day offshore out of Marina Pez Vela, Quepos had 12 sailfish raised, got 11 bites, releasing 6 sailfish. They had one marlin up but did not get a bite. They caught 3 dorado aka mahi-mahi. Beautiful day of fishing!
