On a 3/4 day Offshore, Diego Lopez at the helm, the Gamefisher II had to pick up and run from a good sailfish bite to pursue the dorado that our clients were targeting. 13 Sailfish raised, 10 bites, released 7. Of course they caught their limit on the dorado!!!
Diego took his family fishing on Gamefisher II for his birthday. Happy Birthday, Diego! Daughter Mhia was overjoyed to catch in this nice Cubera snapper. Proud Papa!
Offshore on a half day, two Fathers with 9 and 10 year old sons got on that dorado bite and scored, catching the limit! They also caught and released 1 Pacific sailfish for 1 bite.
Fishing out of Flamingo on a full day offshore, the Smiths, husband and wife team, caught the limit on dorado and 1 sailfish for 1 bite. His and Hers!
300# Blue Marlin caught and released also caught the limit on some good sized dorado on a half day inshore charter with the bachelor party. Good times!!
Dorado all day long and tuna too. One dorado released on the fly, 2 more caught on conventional, 3 yellow fin boated. That’s all we needed to feed the neighborhood. Billfish were illusive. Tomorrow’s another day!
The Offshore action off of Flamingo keeps getting hotter, as predicted by Captain Junior at the end of August from his observations of the conditions coming together to bring the fish to this area. In a half day offshore, our anglers caught a striped marlin, 3 sailfish and 5 dorado. It is a short run to the bite this week which allowed us to get offshore and into the billfish and dorado on a half day charter. Gotta love that!
Not far to run today. Sailfish off Flamingo, a short run, Captain Junior put his anglers on the action. Good sized dorado and tuna. The McGraw’s released 4 out of 5 sailfish.
